When you've completed your review of the File and are closing out of Reader, the app may ask you to save your changes to the File that is open. Your changes (or approvals) have already been submitted so it's not necessary to save your File to your computer. If you choose Option 1 to change your default PDF viewer, follow the steps below to enable the Adobe Safari plug-in: • Open Safari. • Access PassPort (passport.freemanco.com). • In the top left corner, click the Safari drop down menu and select Preferences. • Go to the Websites tab. • Select Adobe Reader in the list of Plug-ins within the left column. • Find passport.freemanco.com in the list of 'Currently Open Websites' and change the toggle to 'On.' • Navigate to the bottom of the screen and change the toggle to 'On' for the 'When visiting other websites' option. • Close your Safari browser completely and (IMPORTANT) restart your computer. • Log back into PassPort. • Navigate to the File List page (either by using the Menu or clicking the count under 'Pending My Review' on your Dashboard). • Click on the File Name and choose the Open with Annotation Cover page option for a File that is currently pending your review. • Click the 'Save as Draft' button to test the functionality (nothing will change on your File). Result: You should expect to see a message display stating 'Your File was successfully submitted.' • Close the tab that opened (containing the success message) and continue with reviewing the File.
